Meet Christine
Greetings! My name is Christine. I am the mother of two teenagers, a wife, a former elementary teacher of 17 years, now a preschool teacher and a lifelong learner! I received my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from Arizona State University. My education and years of teaching cemented the belief that play IS the best method to encourage engagement and thus, grow in knowledge for ALL learners.

A fraction of the things I love: my family and friends, reading, the color pink, Trudy and Barney (our cat and dog) chocolate chip cookies, learning, puzzles, preschool, camping, eating, hiking, playing the board game Terraforming Mars, writing and painting. My real life dream is to win "The Amazing Race" with my husband, Thomas.
Why Preschool?
The energy. The passion. The questions. The raw emotions. The honesty. Preschoolers live their life to the fullest and to be in their orbit is something special. These precious children live life in the moment. With so much for them to explore and learn, all we need is to provide a safe space, time, and to observe. It is an honor and a delight to be a part of their journey.
