Playhouse Preschool's mission is to provide the highest quality care and education through a child-centered approach. Where each child can begin to manage his or her self, by being curious to explore, learn, and make sense of the world around.

We emphasize building positive relationships with peers and adults by instilling respect for self and others. Responsible decision making is practiced when children make choices for themselves. Choice plays an important part during our day here at Playhouse Preschool.
​​Playhouse Preschool believes that all children are capable of greatness and can reach their potential given a supportive, loving, risk-taking environment where creativity and curiosity are encouraged. We believe that children should be asking questions, problem solving, and exploring areas of interest. ​

We utilize the Missouri Early Learning Standards (MELS) to guide instruction. Additionally, each child's interests, needs, and current abilities are taken into account and lesson activities are tailored to the individual child.

I offer a small, in-home preschool, located in Kansas City's Northland.
